The Klamath River provides endless days of recreation from Mild to Wild.  To the right is a picture of Dragons tooth which is a class 4 rapid. It's alot of fun!!! But if you prefer just sitting by the rivers edge and watching the ducks, otters and fish there are plenty of calm sandy beaches.

bear.jpg (92738 bytes) We spotted this bear across the river while we were going down the road.  We had to stop and take his picture.

riverparkpond.jpg (79352 bytes) The river park located in Happy Camp.  Beautiful spot to have a picnic , wedding  and home to big foot days.  It has a great pavilion & pond!

elkcreek.jpg (82370 bytes)Sulfursprings.jpg (93944 bytes)

Elk Creek is a year round creek coming out of the Marble Mountain Wilderness. The picture to the right is the sulfur springs which is about 80' knee high pool of water. (differently feels warm compared to the ice cold waters of Elk Creek)

eaglesflight.jpg (37873 bytes) Eagles are a common sight and I just happened to have my camera handy when this one flew by.

bigfoote.jpg (50686 bytes) bigfoot Happy Camp, Ca.

Well Bigfoot can be seen daily along  Hwy. 96 in Happy Camp and also at the post office in Happy Camp!

autumriver.jpg (63529 bytes)autumHwy96.jpg (70248 bytes)Autumn colors explode with beauty along Hwy 96 on left & the Klamath River on the right.   While we seldom see snow along the road, it always coats the tall timbered hills around us adding to the magnificent beauty of our area.

raftingcameron.JPG (60207 bytes) Rafting the Klamath is fun for all ages! It is also a wonderful way to see the wildlife .....
